Terms and conditions of ticket sales for CAKE conf event

§ 1. General provisions

These terms and conditions set out the rules for purchasing and using tickets for the “CAKE conf” event (hereinafter referred to as the “Event”).

The organizer of the Event is the Content Bytes Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”).

Purchase of a ticket constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

§ 2. Ticket sales

Tickets are sold electronically via the official Event website or via a ticketing platform indicated by the Organizer.

Ticket prices are gross prices and are exempt from VAT.

The ticket entitling entry to the Event is the confirmation (electronic or printed) sent to the Buyer’s email address after payment has been processed.

§ 3. Refunds and no refund policy

The Organizer does not provide refunds for purchased tickets.

Once payment has been completed and the purchase finalized, the Buyer is not entitled to a refund, regardless of the reason for non-attendance at the Event.

§ 4. Non-transferability and ticket personalization

Each ticket is personalized and assigned to the specific Participant indicated during the purchase process.

The Organizer does not allow ticket transfers to another person or changes to Participant data after the purchase has been completed.

Entry to the Event will only be granted to the person whose name appears on the ticket and who presents a valid identity document at the entrance.

§ 5. Photography and recording

The Event may be photographed and/or video recorded. By attending the Event, Participants acknowledge and agree that their image may be recorded as part of such materials.

Photographs and video recordings may be used by the Organizer for documentation, promotional, and marketing purposes, including publication on websites, social media channels, and other communication materials related to the Organizer’s activities.

§ 6. Final provisions

In matters not regulated by these terms and conditions, the provisions of the Polish Civil Code shall apply.

The Organizer reserves the right to make changes to the Event agenda due to circumstances beyond its control.

These terms and conditions enter into force on the date ticket sales begin.
